In the course of my career, I've had a fair number of people approach me for marketing advice. It's a topic I'm passionate about, and I'm always happy to share insights. Something I’ve notices is that the conversations often conclude with a familiar phrase: "I don't have time for that."

As I sit in the doctor's office, waiting for my kids, typing this on my phone to later import onto my computer for posting, I reflect on that response. Creatives hold the reins to their time. How they choose to wield it is a profoundly personal decision. I

t's a realization that strikes me in moments like these, where every spare minute counts. I’m certainly not typing into my notes on my phone for the sake of dramatic flair. It’s just what today’s schedule looks like for me. 

The truth is, it's rarely a matter of not having time; rather, it's a matter of choosing to utilize the time that is available. We're all granted the same 24 hours in a day, and the choices we make with those hours shape our professional and personal landscapes.
